AGBEE BEE12
AGBEE Bots gives warehouse and production operations the BEE12 autonomous stacker, built with European components to European safety legislation and able to stack pallets up to 1700 mm high.
BEE12 is aimed at projects that want autonomous stacking on repetitive flows, with no infrastructure changes and an investment threshold that allows a start with a few units and gradual expansion.
A compact autonomous stacker for internal pallet handling
BEE12 is an autonomous stacker designed to transport and position pallets in intralogistics and production flows. It is intended for companies looking for a European option that is robust and easier to deploy than classic automation projects. Instead of complicating the infrastructure, BEE12 relies on autonomous navigation and a management system that adapts quickly to changes on the floor.
BEE12 is developed and manufactured by AGBEE Srl in Italy. In Romania, Novomatix is AGBEE's official distributor and official integration partner, from application assessment and integration through to commissioning and support.
Where BEE12 fits in the flow
BEE12 makes sense where internal pallet transport has to be automated without interrupting current operations and without building dedicated infrastructure around the robot.
Pallet transfer between goods receiving, buffers, staging and dispatch areas, on repetitive flows where continuity matters more than one-off transport.
Pallet pick-up and delivery at conveyors, palletizers and production lines, keeping the flow of materials and finished goods steady.
Pallet handling between floor level and the first rack level, in scenarios where compactness and positioning accuracy matter.
Automation of repetitive routes between fixed transfer points, where operational stability, safety and quick adaptation to change are required.
The flows above appear frequently in manufacturing, FMCG, logistics and automotive. Relevant industries. How a fork-type robot picks up and hands over pallets at each type of transfer point is explained in the transfer-point map on the Mobile Robots hub.
Compact, autonomous and quick to deploy
BEE12 operates in aisles of around 2 metres, navigates autonomously without reflectors or magnets and can be commissioned quickly. For projects that need autonomous stacking up to 1.7 m without complicating the existing infrastructure, it is one of the most direct options in the Novomatix portfolio.
With a rated load of 1200 kg, an overall width of 900 mm and a turning radius of 1357 mm, BEE12 is interesting for spaces where every metre of aisle counts. Depending on pallet orientation and the safety margins used in the project, it can work in aisles of around 2 metres.
BEE12 uses 2D LiDAR and maps its environment, with no reflectors, magnets or QR codes. That simplifies deployment in new facilities and existing plants alike.
The system monitors 360° around the vehicle and its load, and BEE12 is complying with ISO 3691-4:2023 for driverless industrial trucks. For the customer, this means predictable, safe behaviour in the flow, not a box ticked on paper.
Commissioning can be fast, and routes and missions can be modified easily. This is one of the strongest commercial arguments for projects that have to start simply and evolve without major rework.
How BEE12 works in operation
BEE12 brings navigation, safety, fleet management and communication with the surrounding equipment together into coherent operating behaviour, rather than a collection of isolated functions.
BEE12 navigates with a 2D LiDAR system mounted at the top of the vehicle and builds a map of the working environment. This reduces the need for fixed infrastructure and makes integration easier in brownfield and greenfield projects alike.
Safety scanners continuously monitor the area around the vehicle and the load, allowing safe movement in any direction. In Novomatix projects, safety is handled at system level: routes, intersections, sensitive zones and operating behaviour.
The AGBEE management system coordinates the fleet, optimises routes in real time and is VDA5050-compatible, which allows direct integration with WMS, ERP and other automated equipment.
BEE12 runs on a 24 V / 180 Ah LiFePO4 battery with automatic contact charging. BEE12 is easy to install and configure, and routes and missions can be adapted quickly as operating requirements change.

Technical source: BEE12 technical sheet, AGBEE (EN, 2025). The values in the table are the manufacturer's specifications.
The lifting height h3 = 1610 mm is the technical-sheet figure, measured at the underside of the fork at maximum lift; with a fork thickness of 90 mm, the top face of the fork reaches approximately 1700 mm, the maximum lift height communicated by AGBEE.
Novomatix recommendation, not a BEE12 specification: when assessing a project we work with a margin of approximately 300 mm over the aisle widths in the technical sheet, depending on pallet orientation, load geometry, safety fields and manoeuvring strategy; the final value is validated on the actual layout.
How we assess whether BEE12 suits your flow
The analysis and the conversation do not start from the robot but from the flow, the transfer points, the operating rules and the real space constraints. Novomatix's role is to validate whether BEE12 adds value in the customer's actual scenario, to define the integration with the rest of the system and to turn an autonomous platform into a stable, safe and easily extendable operational solution. The steps below are part of Novomatix integration services.
We check the aisle geometry, the width available at the transfer points, the required stacking height and the actual traffic conditions, to confirm that BEE12 fits the space and the flow on site.
BEE12 becomes relevant in projects where space is limited, transfers are repetitive and the customer needs a logical autonomous solution that is easy to support and easy to extend.
We establish which signals BEE12 receives and sends, how it communicates with the charging station, the conveyors or the WMS, and how it behaves at every interaction point in the customer's real flow.
We set the operating logic, the implementation stages and the scaling scenarios, so the project can start cleanly and stay robust as the flow evolves.
Questions about BEE12
BEE12 is particularly suited to repetitive internal pallet transport flows, between buffers, production, conveyors, palletizing, racking and dispatch areas, where continuity and safety matter more than the extreme flexibility of a very complex system.
BEE12 has an overall width of 900 mm and a turning radius of 1357 mm. Depending on pallet orientation and the safety margins used in the project, it can operate in aisles of around 2 metres.
No. BEE12 uses 2D LiDAR navigation and maps its environment, with no reflectors, magnets or QR codes, which simplifies deployment in new and existing facilities alike.
BEE12 uses safety scanners with 360° monitoring around the vehicle and its load. In Novomatix projects, safety is handled at system level: routes, intersections, sensitive zones and operating behaviour.
Yes. The AGBEE management system is VDA5050-compatible and works with commonly used industrial protocols, which allows integration with WMS, ERP and other automated equipment, depending on the project architecture.
As a rule, the project starts with a flow analysis, validation of the transfer points, an assessment of the available space and a definition of the integration. Only after that stage are the right configuration and the commissioning plan established.
