Commissioning means integration into the flow, on-site validation, and operational tuning, so the system runs stably in real operation. That covers coordinating the interfaces, testing the operating scenarios, and adjusting the solution precisely to the customer's process.
Frequently asked questions about Novomatix services
With an assessment of the real process: what moves, between which points, at what frequency, and under what constraints of space, load, or interfaces. On that basis we define whether automation makes sense and what kind, which technical solution fits, and how it integrates into the existing operation.
Integration means connecting the automation to everything already running: doors, conveyors, lifts, workstations, WMS or MES systems, traffic rules, and data flows. The point is for the solution to work as part of the process rather than as a technical island.
We select the right configuration, design the integration, coordinate the implementation, commission the system, validate it on site, and provide support after go-live. The equipment is one component; the project includes analysis, interfaces, safety, commissioning, and operational stabilization.
When the project involves more than buying a machine: when it has to be integrated into a flow, connected to existing systems, verified from a safety perspective, or adapted to real constraints on site. An integrator defines the solution, not only delivers it.
After go-live, Novomatix remains available for troubleshooting, interventions, preventive maintenance, and operational adjustments. The aim is to keep operation stable and to step in when the process changes or new situations appear.
Novomatix takes on the assessment, the solution selection, the integration design, the implementation coordination, the commissioning, and the technical support. The customer remains responsible for the operational process, the operating team, the physical space, and the strategic decisions about the flow. The boundaries of responsibility are defined clearly at the start, not afterwards.
A proof of concept makes sense when the scenario carries real uncertainty — an unusual space, an unconventional flow, unclear interfaces, or safety requirements that are hard to verify otherwise. It does not make sense when the application is well defined and similar to projects already validated. In those cases we move straight to design and implementation.
